My name is David Thomas, and I am an amateur photographer based in Wiltshire in the UK.  Although photography is clearly a major interest, my real passions are my Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, and my wife and two children. 

I am incredibly grateful to my family who have been very supportive of my photography, and put up with all the frequent stops on journeys to 'just take a quick picture' (or ten!). Without their support, this site would not have been made.  We all worship at Sanctuary Christian Church who have also been very encouraging.

Despite working in IT, this is the first public web site I have ever built.  Through the site I hope to be able to share my photography with family and friends, and also to assist with sales of my work.

I bought my first 'proper' camera when I was in my teens - a Praktica MTL5 manual SLR.  After getting married and starting a family, photography took a back seat other than family snapshots until 2000 when I bought a digital compact camera.  From then on, I was hooked...
